So, spammers can register .uk names and spam to their heart's content
and you won't lift a finger to stop them?

I'm sure the spammer world will be happy to hear that.

Except that's a webpage, not a contact address; I want information to
flow in the other direction, from me to them.

I recommend to your inspection the output of querying whois.iana.org
for "uk".  It does not list a whois server.

This is not always so; for example, .ca's server is at whois.cira.ca,
not whois.nic.ca - and whois.iana.org (correctly) lists it.

If the UK forbids you from publishing contact emails for domain
registrars or registrants, the UK has no place on the net.

Unless, of course, you take on the duties of accepting complaint and
passing them along to the correct parties.  What is the correct address
to email my complaints about .uk domains to, then?
