This is a list that Perry nudged me into creating for announcing and discussing my various bits of software. It's currently still pretty small. At the moment I'm hosting it myself. I've already had one small problem with it because of my SORBS listing (my outgoing mailserver, 216.46.5.7, is listed by SORBS), and there are potential problems with sending mail here because my mailserver is unusually stringent about protocol conformance. Discussions are underway (offlist) about finding somewhere else, preferably somewhere with a list-management package already set up, to host it, but for the moment it's just me. All the stuff is up for anonymous ftp from ftp.rodents.montreal.qc.ca. While most of the software in question is available, what isn't available is a map to where to find it and what the various things are. You're welcome to poke around if you feel like it; I'm in the process of creating the missing roadmap and descriptions, but that's likely to take a day or two - it'll all be in /mouse/mouseware/ when I get it written up. In the meantime, if you see anything you'd like to ask about, or discuss with others, or fetch and play with, or whatever, have at it. Anything I don't want people fetching isn't up for FTP. :-) /~\ The ASCII der Mouse \ / Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML mouse@rodents.montreal.qc.ca / \ Email! 7D C8 61 52 5D E7 2D 39 4E F1 31 3E E8 B3 27 4B From mouse Tue Aug 23 14:28:18 2005 Return-Path: Received: (from mouse@localhost) by Sparkle.Rodents.Montreal.QC.CA (8.8.8/8.8.8) id OAA18361; Tue, 23 Aug 2005 14:28:18 -0400 (EDT) From: der Mouse Message-Id: <200508231828.OAA18361@Sparkle.Rodents.Montreal.QC.CA> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-Erik-Conspiracy: There is no Conspiracy - and if there were I wouldn't be part of it anyway. I need to write up descriptions for most of the stuff there - only a few of them are documented so far - but if anyone has any thoughts on how it could be organized better, I'd certainly like to hear them (preferably before I get a lot of effort invested in this organization :). For our new member(s) - we have at least one address here that's new since my last mail - the FTP area in question is ftp.rodents.montreal.qc.ca:/mouseware/. /~\ The ASCII der Mouse \ / Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML mouse@rodents.montreal.qc.ca / \ Email! 7D C8 61 52 5D E7 2D 39 4E F1 31 3E E8 B3 27 4B
